The student can stay there for one year, but they can also stay there the whole period of a program.

Sometimes this requirement can even be the age. These types have the special requirements because of the program they offer, and which are not for all students. But if you want to attend a normal boarding school without any special requirements, then the best thing is to go to one of the many private boarding schools.
