The last boarding option is the flexible option. This can be a regular or irregular stay-over for the children. The possibility for the child is to stay at the boarding school for one day a week, or several times a week. It can be different each week. Some parents choose for this option, because it depends on their work. Sometimes their work has so many flexible days, that they need to bring their child to a flexible boarding school. But there can be of course many other reasons why they want their child to attend a flexible boarding school.

The boarding schools with the widest options are the weekly boarding schools. This is because it’s better for the children and their parents to see each other in the weekend. Many children also want to go back to their parents in the weekend, especially the children which are still very young. But it’s also more common for the faculty members to go home in the weekend. Mostly one of these three boarding options will be offered at the boarding schools, and sometimes they even offer two or all three of these options.

The option doesn’t depend whether you choose for a boarding school for troubled teen, mixed, boy or girl private boarding school, military or high school or any other type of boarding school.
