Understanding Youth Homestay Program

Winter youth homestay is one of the many types of a boarding program in Florida you should try to understand so that you will have a broader understanding about the boarding schools program in this part of the country. The St. Petersburg Youth Homestay is a program widely known in St. Petersburg, Florida and it is held in January. Usually, this program is conducted for three consecutive weeks with the international students staying in an American family. The program includes 16 English lessons. This program also includes supervised recreational activities as well as visits to various local elementary schools operated by Americans.
The whole package of the Winter Youth Homestay program is composed of the following activities for your ready reference.
Welcome reception – During the arrival of the international student being hosted by an American family there will be a short welcome reception activity. This is also the time the student is brief of what he can do while in the poster family. Adult education boarding school is not included in this kind of program.
Picnic – A picnic for all the boarding school students is also among the activities being considered during the course of the three-week program. There is also a scheduled farewell parties for the families of the students. The weekends according to program will be spent with the family that hosts the international student.
Arts and Crafts – This program is also prepared but the international students can choose what particular project he would want to participate. You can choose from painting, decorations, visuals, sketching and all other activities.
Sports activities – Sports activities are also lined up for this boarding school program. The sports events include baseball, soccer, basketball and volleyball.
Excursion activities – There are also scheduled excursion activities for this boarding school located in St Petersburg, Florida. The daylong excursion is scheduled once a week during the program period.
