Understanding the ELS boarding school in the US
Jan Tue 6th, 2009 by outsourcing
Learning English in a boarding school program is one of the best opportunities for international students. The ELS Language Centers is now the best in English language learning in America for secondary students. You can enjoy learning the English language either on summer or winter season so it’s really a lot of fun.
During summer time there is the Summer Youth Camps that students can enjoy. The learning experience for a group of at least 15 students is also a unique experience during the summer youth camp. The participants will be given the opportunities to engage in conversation using the English language, opportunity to learn English as well as listen how the language is spoken. For advance students there is also the daily TOEFL/SAT which is elective in nature.
What is also exciting here is that students are sheltered in a dormitory, eat in the cafeteria which is only located in the campus as well as join in other activities which include arts and crafts, sports and excursions. At Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida students would also enjoy other added activities such as beach trip pool party, shopping, talent show, excursions to amusement parks and other attractions in Florida including Universal Studios and Magic Kingdom.
In California Lutheran University activities also include bowling and participants are treated to movie night, LA city tour as well as excursions to top themeparks like Magic Mountain and Disneyland. There is also a teen vacation at Pepperdine University campus in Malibu, California. The three-week activity combines general English and all other activities the participants would surely enjoy the weekly socialization activities with children in America.
Just like a military school there is also the New England Summer Prep Program at Roger Williams University campus in Rhode Island. It is a three week program that combines English including TOEFL/SAT, learning grammar and all other activities like excursions, shopping, movie night, visit to Cambridge and Harvard and a lot more exciting activities.
