Eating the proper amount of food and its kind created a big impact to the person’s life. Food serves as the prime mover of the body in order to function and to sustain in performing different activities. The standard period of having a meal is three times a day and breakfast had been considered as the most important meal period. Since, this breakfast meal had been considered as the breakage of the fasting that been made for several hours of not eating but been allotted in sleeping. As well, breakfast is also essential because it’s the first meal that been taken in a day. No wonder that breakfast meal is very much important. Despite of its essential, there are still a number of individuals who have not taken their breakfast as they go on their day. Most of the individuals that don’t usually take their breakfast are the adolescents and the young adult. In which, they usually go on their day such as attending classes or studying without eating their breakfast meal.

With that observation, some professors and medical professionals want to find out if there are some negative impacts that will be done to the learners who have skip their breakfast meal. As a result, a study had been created which lead by the Dr. Katharina Widenhorn-Mueller of Ulm University. This study had been conducted to the different boarding schools and campus schools here in Ireland which includes the military boarding school. There were around 104 learners’ ages 13-20 coming from the different boarding schools or campus schools whether public or private schools in the country who have participated in this study. In an overall observation, they have found that skipping the breakfast meal brings out a negative impact to most of the learners especially to the male individuals. Since, most of the male learners have skip their breakfast meal were usually complain that they felt moody and they can’t have focus towards their studies. As a result, they usually got lower scores when they will take an examination. But, when they eat their breakfast they feel much better and already gain clarity of their thinking that resulted to obtain a higher score in any text or exams.

With the findings of this research study, all schools in the country most especially the boarding schools are ensuring that their learners got have eaten breakfast before they attend their classes.
