Schools are very much important due to the fact that it serves as a strong venue for several learners to be able to learned lots of things and aspects. For several years, most of the rural educational learning institutes in the country have lost hundreds in the recent years. Now, the state researchers are now hoping to determine of how many people will left the rural Alaska for a bigger communities that was based on the report. In which, about 1,802 students have lost for the last five years in the country. According to the report, between the month of July 2003 and June 2008 the learners population have fell down that was based on the state’s Division of Community Advocacy. Those lower educational learning institutes do not necessarily mean that people are leaving from one area to other said by Brigitta Windisch-Cole, a research analyst. Part of the reason of the enrollment is falling could be due to the fact that couples are now having fewer babies. In which, the Alaska birth rate have already fallen in the recent years which drop from 24.4 for every 1,000 residents in the 1980s to 15.4 in 2005-2006.
This information was only part of the ongoing review by the division that had begun last October. It was also found that correspondence of the different educational learning institutes have lost 721 learners, urban schools have lost 204 learners and correctional facility schools have also lost 66 learners. Nowadays, those schools that got lower rate of learners are gradually increasing such as in the place of Bethel or Kotzebue. In which, they have already gained a total of 429 learners and boarding schools of that place have also increased for about 109 learners. As part of the review, those employees in the division’s Research and Analysis section have reviewed some historical educational enrollment numbers. They have also requested the current learners to counts from every educational learning institute in the state. More than 60 percent of the state’s school had responded which been said according to Windisch-Cole. The last fall, Alaska had about 129,000 learners between kindergarten and 12th grades. In the review that includes an over all population trends in the census areas that will continue through out the month of March for the education program here in the United States.
