Moms find boarding schools good alternative
Dec Thu 27th, 2007 by admin
Boarding schools are now best alternative institutions in the US and European countries. This is because many parents believe that traditional schools are no longer doing well as far as giving quality education and disciplining the bad behavioural pattern of many students.
Sarah Berger is one of the products of a girl private boarding school in Oregon and she says the school had totally changed her bad behavioural pattern during her formative years. She said had it not for the help of the school she would still be having problems with herself.
“Before I was transferred by my mom to boarding school I was really some sort of destroying my life and my future. I started to join drinking sessions with my classmates back and high school and smoking lots of cigarettes. My early high experience back in those days was really horrible. MY mom was so upset of me starting to making a fight with her,” Berger said.
John Lewis, who is now a businessman in California also told his horrible experience before he joined the boys boarding school. He said it was actually his mother who persuaded him to join boy boarding school with the hope of creating a new dimension to his very miserable life. John was having alcohol addiction problems back in high school before he was forced by his mom to a boarding private school for boys.
“My mom was very instrumental in changing my life now for the better. Without her I don’t what path I am heading now. Since I am now a changed man in heart, in word and in deeds I am thanking my mom for this.”
John joined the boy boarding school in 2001 and also finish his schooling four years later. After that he has changed a lot in his attitude according to his mom.
