Going to Boarding School Education
Apr Mon 27th, 2009 by outsourcing
According to the point of view of Joshue Guevara of Bridgeport that boarding schools are truly a good venue for educational learning especially for him because it will be a great support him in preparation for college education and lifestyle living. In which, once he will be going for college education he will be living for his own and for that as early as now he already prepare for the life that he will be taking in the future. Guevara is the child of El Salvadoran immigrants who are moving to Elizabeth Street in Bridgeport after they are escaping they are escaping the 2004 fire in Stamford that nearly destroyed the second floor apartment and even everything that they have own. After Guevara moving to Bridgeport, he attended Hall School and her mom allowed Guevara to join the Park City prep and the Headmaster of Bruce Ravage recognizes the uncommon intelligence that Guevara got and for that he allowed him to be under his wings.
Ravage found Guevara strong in every subject or field. Since, he become one of the eight members of his class who work on and be part of the group called the Better Chance, a group that supports of paving the way for those underprivileged scholars in order to attend the nations most elite private secondary educational learning institutes. In which, they studied and took some Secondary School Admission Test with full scholarship in Hotchkiss based on the recommendation of his mentor because of the observation and attitude towards academics that they notice about Guevara. Hotchkiss is a private boarding school that accepts and even provides scholarship to those children who are intellectually talented but can’t financially afford the educational expenses in this boarding school. Guevara is one of the privilege learners who got scholarship student financial aid. This chance is quite better for him because he can eventually exercise his intellectual talents, potentials and even got peers or get along peers who eventually like him.
According to Guevara the chance of going to one the prestigious boarding school in the country is really a great opportunity because it could allow him to explore about being away with its own family and be on its own together with his new classmates and some peers who might came from the different campus schools in the country. Aside of that also, it allows him to be prepared for the next level of education which is college education where in, the scenario would be the same that he will be still be away from his real families but rather embrace the life together with his classmates and friends in schools.
