The superintendent of Memphis have just order an assessment in regards to the new districts public schools that comprises if 104,000 learners. The result was grim, high school graduates have just recently fallen to 67% and one out of five had just dropped within the range of academic years. But what’s most concern was that numbers of learners were considerably highly mobile which means that they have entirely move for at least once a year that ballooned for 34,000 partly due to home-foreclosure crises that takes place. At least about 1,500 learners were entirely homeless in this state. This reality needs to ponder and be put into thinking of aspects that will help or support those impoverished learners be get out from the poverty level. With that, superintendent Cash is calling and creating a proposal to create a Memphis residential school for about 300 to 400 kids whose family or parents are in financial distress with some live in faculty reviving these elite type of New England prep boarding schools in the country. This proposal is quite forefront broader than a national trend from the New Jersey to the Wisconsin towards California, the school districts and private investors are developing the same project.

The supporters are hoping that the U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan who have pushed a public boarding schools in CEO of Chicago’s school system will entirely provide an even greater traction. These public boarding schools concepts are not entirely new. Since, in the past the Institutions of Indiana and Pennsylvania have already took several children from of dead Civil War veterans, and Louisiana and Illinois have already offered a residential programs that are gifted for learners in 1980’s. But publicly of financing in regards to this public schools boarding for inner-city kids are already a different proposition to look over. With his plan for the Memphis, Cash wants even more time. Perhaps the common provocative points in this proposal is entirely to focus towards the students ages 3 to 5 because homelessness is quite growing in this critical age especially when much educational foundation is on set. Cash is just hopeful that this public boarding school will be a good venue for these learners who in the poverty level to still are able to learn and be able to lift up themselves from poverty.
