A Christian boarding school in Texas received a donation of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) from a wealthy family in Texas. The donation was made for a very important purchase according to sources. Students and school officials are very happy with the said donation, saying this is a great help for the school.
The San Marcos Baptist Academy was the recent recipient of the $100,000 donation from the very generous couple Donna and Charlie Oglesby. The donation, reports said, will be used for the purchase of a 44-setter school bus. One of the Oglesby’s kids Travis is an academy graduate. This time another Oglesby in the name of Jackie is also joining the academy for this school year.
“Bobby Dupree, the academy’s vice president for development said the donation would ensure that the school has a safe transportation vehicle for the students. “This ensures us that we have now safe transportation for our students,” Dupress points out. He said the help of the family is an incredible blessing which the school gladly accepted.
He said San Marcos Academy is a college preparatory school which is fully accredited and committed to educate the young generation to become responsible citizens of the country – instilling in them the genuine Christian values.
