According to the school administrators of Conserve School in Land O’Lakes of North Woods boarding schools that were doing lay off towards their school staff members as they start their school transitioning towards a semester school model where in other learners from other high schools be able to join their junior semester in this Conserve School that was known as boarding school for quite a long time in North Wood here in the United States. This drastic alteration was a result of the market condition because it really challenges the future of the young individuals and the schools that caters the $ 180 million educational endowment. But several parents pointed out that the amount of endowment that 145-learners on a per pupil par that is quite similar to the prestigious Northeast boarding Schools Philips Exeter Academy and Groton School. With that, parents have question the motives of the Chicago steel executives in charge in running and some new system implementation of this Conserve School in regards to semester school model.

Several parents have requested the Conserve School trustees with the administrators to have a meeting and discuss aspects in improving the system of running this boarding school especially that there are only three boarding schools in the state. For that, the school system and learners of Conserve School must be preserved. But the efforts of these parents are already late. The Conserve Headmaster Stefan Anderson has already fully decided that there school will no longer stick on the four year college preparatory academy model as basis in offering an education program. Besides, the school itself have already contacted around 80 other educational learning institutes about the possibility of taking their freshmen and sophomores who cannot stayed during this Conserve’s year of transition. Since, the Conserve authorities assures that switching their institute into a semester school will provide a long term viability of school in fulfilling its vision that learners will be able to widen their environment and explore various outdoor activities.

With the decision that Conserve School authorities have provided, it didn’t able to evade the negative opinion of several parents, alumni, and students but the Conserve School authorities are quite firm in defending its side that this new model academy system will provide answers in order to counteract economic downfall of the school and allow the learners to widen their environment as they will transferred to other school when they already finish the educational program that been set in this Conserve School. No matter what other says, Conserve School still knows what bests in preserving their system and upbringing system for their learners as for that transition must prevail.
