More and more independent schools in United Kingdom are trying to attract several learners that came from abroad as its domestic demand is already hit by the recession. In which, about nearly half of the private schools in the country stated that there boosting towards the international market in order to reach out those wealthy parents overseas and allowed their children to enroll in one of the private educational learning institutes especially boarding school setting in United Kingdom. While several head teachers wants to capitalize this current exchange rate that will make the UK boarding school fees quite affordable in foreign families. However at some point, some experts already warned that taking on several foreign learners can entirely change the character of their educational learning institutes and be turn into British parents off.

Around 100 independent schools in England have found out in the latest survey that they got nearly half ramping marketing towards the countries such as Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Vietnam, and Malaysia especially that several families in UK are hit by the economic recession. As a result, there are only few who can afford to pay private boarding school tuition fees. That’s one of the reasons that independent schools especially private boarding schools are doing an international marketing targeting wealthy overseas learners and by doing it, it will support the school to maintain their good quality of teachings and even facilities on which educational learning institutes will pride for themselves. Aside of that, it will support the schools goal of creating a culturally mixed environments for every learners that will thrive on. As of now, it calculated that there are already more than 20,500 learners in the different private boarding schools that are non British with their parents who are living overseas.

Some education program experts in the country also warn several Independent schools especially boarding schools that they should take balance the numbers of foreign learners in their schools so that balance of cultural, character, and preservation of equality among foreign and domestic learners can still be preserve. The different boarding school administration stated that balance of treatment and cultural differences can still be attained without neglecting the rights and being a British individuals or citizens while continuing attracting foreign learners through their quality of education and affordable educational expenditures.
